Q: Who should I contact in Employment Services if I have a question?
A: For general questions or if you don't know who to call, you can call the main Employment Services line at 651-696-6280 or email us at hr@macalester.edu

Q: What should I do if I need to report an employment related accident on-campus or off-campus (Worker's Compensation Claims)?
A: For insurance reasons, its important that all accidents should be reported to Employment Services within 24 hours of the accident occurring - please use the Employee Accident Report form to report the accident. Questions can be directed to 651-696-6280 or hr@macalester.edu.
In the event the accident occurs outside of regular ES office hours, please fax the report to 651-696-6612 or e-mail the report to hr@macalester.edu.

1600grand Portal - The 1600portal provides a variety of employment related information and services, included are pay stubs, leave bank balances, tax forms, and the ability to update personal information as it changes. It also includes the Internal Staff Board that allows currently Macalester employees to apply for jobs before the general public has an opportunity. To see these services, log into the 1600grand portal and click on the "Employment/My Job" tab.
