11.15 Unemployment Compensation

Macalester is covered by the State of Minnesota unemployment compensation law. If you are terminated from Macalester for reasons other than misconduct or voluntary resignation, you may be eligible for unemployment compensation. Claims for benefits should be filed with the local Department of Economic Security.
