4.2 Job Analysis

An early step in building the wage and salary plan is job analysis, the collecting and analyzing of information concerning the responsibilities, duties, organizational relationships, and education and experience requirements of jobs. Job information is gathered through the job description. If the job description does not provide sufficient detail to allow analysis, a job analysis questionnaire will be required from the supervising department/office.
