English 101-01: College Writing (Graham)

M/W/F 10:50-11:50am, Old Main 001

Instruction and practice for writing in college. In all sections there will be class meetings for instruction and also individual conferences. In some sections some class meetings will be workshops — students will work collaboratively while researching, planning, drafting, revising, and editing their papers. Readings may be assigned to provide subject matter for papers, or students may be directed to write on topics from other courses they are taking. This course does not satisfy the general distribution requirement in humanities or the requirements for the English major or minor.
