The Facilities Services office staff consists of 3 full-time staff who are also assisted by student workers throughout the year:
Vacant: Office management & supervision, used furniture storeroom, coordination of new furniture needs, coordination of sign orders. Until this position is filled please contact Nathan Lief for assistance.
Susan Lichliter: Key requests and door access requests, and the processing of work order requests. To request a key the department should submit a Key Request form. Requests for door access should be emailed.
Karin Zeller: Van requests, parking permit coordination, student employment coordinator & accounts payable functions for the department.
Keys for departmental and office use by faculty and staff, as well as non-residence hall keys used by students, are issued by Facilities Services. Residence hall keys are issued by the Residential Life office.
The College leases 8 passenger motorpool vans (max 8 persons) for department and organization use. Current rental price to lease a van is $57.00 per day and .45 per mile. A van request should be submitted to request a motorpool van. Departments needing a standard car or a pickup truck may contact the Hour Car service available in St Paul the contact information is located on our front page.
Pick up times for office keys & van keys are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. If you are picking up van keys after office hours, you must contact a Security Officer at 651-696-6555.
All students, staff and faculty members parking a vehicle in the College lots are required to follow all parking and traffic regulations and vehicles must display a current parking permit.
For campus building work orders, submit an online work order request. Your request will be processed within 48 hours. Normal processing time for work to be completed is between 10-14 days, this may be extended during extremely busy times such as at the beginning of a semester.
Emergency work order requests (i.e. broken water pipes from radiator, heating problems, etc.) can be made by calling the Main Office at 651-696-6278. After office operation hours please call the security offices at 651-696-6555 for immediate assistance. Please be prepared to provide the following information for emergency requests: building name and room location, your name and telephone number, the date, and a description of the work to be performed.
