Adding Macalester's School Code to Your FAFSA
If you did not list Macalester on your Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) when the FAFSA was originally filed,
there are two ways to deliver your FAFSA results to Macalester.
Preferred Method
Change your FAFSA to include Macalester's code (002358). You may do this by mail or by using the internet.
- Internet (faster): visit www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Click "Make Corrections to a Processed FAFSA". Change one of the
schools in the school section to Macalester and submit the
correction. The school that you replace has already received your
original FAFSA results.
Note: you must have a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to use the
internet method. To obtain a PIN, visit www.pin.ed.gov.
- Mail: change one of the six schools
listed on your paper Student Aid Report (SAR) and mail the SAR back to
the FAFSA processor. An address for doing this is shown on
your SAR.
Alternate Method
If you are unable to add Macalester to your FAFSA by one of the methods
above, mail or fax a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) that you
received by mail to Macalester's Financial Aid Office. Attach a note requesting that Macalester replace one of the six schools on the FAFSA.
