Françoise
Denis, associate professor, teaches medieval, Renaissance and 17th
century literature as well as French language at all levels.
She specializes in XII-XIIIth.c Old French epics, and is preparing
an edition of a XIIIth century epic Gui de Bourgogne.
Her research and her latest publications integrate the medieval
period with the historical and cultural developments of the following
centuries. She is currently involved with the SATOR, a society
building an international literary database of topoi in romances.
She has developed multimedia computer materials (poetry, fairy tales,
phonetics, activities) to teach French at all levels.
