GEOG 111: Human Geography of Global Issues

This course surveys the themes and approaches of human geography. Human geographers consider interactions between humans and their environment, the unique characteristics of specific places, and spatial patterns in human activities. As historians consider the importance of time in making sense of the world, so geographers focus on the importance of space and place.
