In April of 2000, David Lanegran gave his inaugural lecture as John S. Holl Professor of Geography. The lecture was entitled "New Urban Landscapes in the Post Apartheid Cities of South Africa." He discussed the efforts of the new South African government to resolve housing issues created by 50 years of apartheid city planning. Details»
