Dates: August 14-16, 2008

Location: Roseau, MN

What: Join teachers from across Minnesota for Roundtable discussions, local plant tours, and visits to Lake of the Woods and the Northwest Angle. Earn CEUs for participating in this event.

Times: The workshop begins at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14 th and ends at noon on Saturday, August 16 th .

Description: Listen to other teachers and share your ideas at Roundtable discussions facilitated by members of MAGE. Gain valuable knowledge and information on biofuels, the U.S.-Canadian border, DNR issues and more in sessions conducted by area experts. Tour the Polaris and Marvin Windows plants to learn about these industries. Visit Lake of the Woods and the Northwest Angle to see firsthand these amazing places in Minnesota.

Be sure to bring your passport as the group will be traveling into Canada.

Accommodations and meals: Lodging will be provided for you on Thursday and Friday nights if you agree to share a room (You will need to pay for a private room). Evening meals will be provided for you both days.
