Brigetta Abel Return to faculty and staff directory Brigetta (Britt) Abel (BA Cornell University; MA and PhD, University of Minnesota) is now enjoying her third year at Macalester as a Visiting Assistant Professor of German. Her research and teaching interests are varied and include: twentieth-century German and Austrian Literature, German and Austrian women’s literature after 1700, twentieth-century German minority literature, Weimar and exile literature and film, German and American feminist theory and feminisms, and computer-assisted language learning. Britt particularly appreciates the excellent facilities and support for technology-enhanced learning at Macalester.
