German House - the Application Process

All of the German House rooms are single rooms; residents share a living room, kitchen, and two bathrooms among the 8 residents, including the 2 native speakers.

Residents of the German House are required to be registered for German Studies courses while living in the House, as well as to participate in House activities, including the common meal, household chores, the monthly Kaffeestunden and the Filmabende. The language of the House is German.

Applicants must be sophomores, juniors or seniors at the time of residence. Preference is given to more advanced students.

Applications are accepted in the spring before room draw. The Department Coordinator, Martha Davis, will announce the upcoming deadlines.

For more information, contact Martha Davis, German Studies and Russian Department Coordinator.
