For the past 8 months I've been coordinating a clinic in a rural area outside of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. As Clinic Coordinator/"Jefacita"/ Administrator, I basically run a non-profit and have the responibility to make sure all goes well (clinic schedule, patients, transfers, hospitlizations, maintain chronic care programs and followup, manage American medical and non med volunteers, coomunicate and organize with American and Bolivian founders, schedule surgeries, oversee patient care.) We provide free medical care to an indegenous patient base who cannot afford nor have acess to healthcare on their own.
