Time to think about health insurance!
Changes in Dependent Status..
Many states have recently enacted legislation changing the age requirements for health
insurance coverage for dependents - including MN. MN policies must now cover unmarried dependents under the age of 25, whether they are students or not. Check this website to see your home state's status as of 10/4/07.

The Health and Wellness Center is closed on Wednesday mornings for staff meetings, Student Affairs professional development and other trainings and meetings. We open at 12:30 pm on that day. We believe that consolidating the times that staff are in meetings & training into one morning will help students plan and will provide overall better access.

Students should note that if a physical or a form with a physician's signature is required for your study abroad program, you will need to schedule your physical with an off-campus provider. Health Services is not able to offer physical exams; we can provide copies of immunization records or other information from your health file upon your written request.
For a list of local options, check our web page that lists local providers. As always, when selecting an off-campus provider, check your insurance to make sure that provider and the procedure is covered.
Travel clinics and other resources can be found at our web page for international travel clinics.
Check out our web page on Preparing to Study Abroad.
