Recovery-oriented bookstore and gathering place for the recovering community located in the Victoria Crossing area of St. Paul , across the street from the Grand Old Creamery.

Services:  Referral and program information to those who may be seeking treatment for themselves or a loved one. Bookstore staff is knowledgeable about how to access Hazelden's breadth of services. Hazelden Connection does not offer any treatment counseling or services and is not a drop-in counseling center.

Special events, group meetings, recovery gatherings:  Specials events include regular presentations by speakers such as Al Tighe and Bill P.  Hazelden authors and speakers scheduled to speak at the store on a regular basis. Although there will be no Twelve Step group meetings held, members of groups are always welcome to the store!

Three programs serve women struggling with chemical dependency issues:

  • The Co-Occurring Disorders Program treats women suffering from both chemical addiction and mental illness
  • Assessments provides an evaluation of a client's drug or alcohol problem as well as recommendations for treatment.
  • B.A.S.I.C.S. serves adult women who have substance abuse problems. Services include assessment, individual, family and group counseling, parenting support, acupuncture, and aftercare.
