NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota has created an online, searchable data base sothat women through Minnesota can quickely and easiliy locate the pharmacy nearest to them that provides EC (a.k.a "Plan B", "the morning after pill") at a price they can afford. ecminnesota.org No prescription is needed if you are 18+ years of age. Generic vs. name-brand...
When you receive a prescription from a provider, they usually will write it as a name-brand med. But most pharmacies, unless you direct otherwise, will fill it as a generic. It saves everyone money and most generics are as effective as the name-brand med. If you have questions, talk to your pharmacist and/or health care provider.
