The faculty and staff of the department gathered at Fogo de Chão in Minneapolis to send Leland Guyer into retirement with Brazilian style. The restaurant serves roasted meat that's brought out on skewers and carved at your plate. A great time was had by all. We will miss Leland's consistent contributions of scholarly insight and humor, but wish him and his wife, Ellen, a long and fantastic retirement in Arizona.
