Aeleah Soine
Visiting Professor of
History
Professor Soine's areas of specialization are Modern Europe, Germany, transnationalism, and gender. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a B.A. in Honors History and Women's Studies, then completed her Ph.D. in Modern European History at the University of Minnesota. Currently, her research focuses on the transnational professionalization of nursing during the course of the nineteenth century in Germany, Great Britain, and the United States. This fall, she is teaching Introduction to Modern European History and German History from Reformation to Unification, 1500-1871.
