KS95 Production Interns - Fall 2008          
KSTP-FM, Administrative
SCHEDULE: Varies 10 hours per week
Part Time Temporary, Hourly

              
  • Must be a student enrolled in a degree program at a trade school, college, or university which will recognize the internship for class credit
  • Must have an interest in the radio industry
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest & knowledge of current events/pop culture
  • Ability to grasp digital recording techniques and operating procedures
  • Ability to think creatively and put ideas into recorded form
  • Dress and act in a professional manner; report to work as scheduled

DUTIES

  • Assist in imaging and commercial production for KS95 by use of studio equipment, digital editing, and other studio processing equipment
  • Voice-track a simulated on-air shift at KS95
  • Write/produce your own imaging promo(s) to run on KS95
  • Gather audio bytes to use on air via street interviews, to put together listener testimonials

Title: KOOL 108 Promotion Intern

KOOL 108 is currently seeking interested applicants in an internship opportunity in our Promotions Department .An internship with KOOL 108 can provide you the chance to explore your career interests, acquire marketable job skills while ”learning the ropes” of the industry, establish professional contacts and gain practical work experience. Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Working with programming and on-air talent
*Live remotes / Broadcasts
*Public and Client Relations
*Promotional Event Planning and Implementation
*Assisting in the coordination and execution of the KOOL Karaoke live broadcast
*Representing KOOL at the Minnesota State Fair, concerts and sales related appearances.

This position is ideal for students with an interest in promotions, public relations, event planning, marketing, etc.

This is an unpaid internship. You will receive academic credit
