GENERAL STUFF
If you want to leave your stuff in
the HRC, please stow it out of the way of other workers. You
may use the cabinets around the counter or the storeroom (115N).
You must complete your timecard by noon
the Monday after the end of each pay period. I will try to remind
you but is your responsibility to remember to do it. You can't get paid until you have submitted it to me.
When you close, walk through the entire HRC and check to make
sure the chairs are pushed in, the computers are asleep, the
TVs and VCRs in the rooms are off, and the place looks generally
tidy. Double check the doors, turn off the lights, and go. Both
employees should check that the doors are locked and leave together.
No one is allowed in the HRC after closing without explicit permission.
Be courteous of your fellow workers. Even if you have a paper
due next hour, remember that this is your job too. Don't make
the other person do all the work.
If you have ideas on ways to make this place better, make them
known! We are always looking for better ways to run this place.
You are involved with the day-to-day operation of this place
and often have better ideas than I on both the large and
small things all can do to improve the situation around
here.
