07/26/07, Training for Microsoft Office 2007 for Windows
ITS is offering two-hour training sessions for Office 2007. Each session will have 30 minutes to cover the new user interface. Hands-on exercises on Word and Excel will follow.

07/23/07, Moodle Transition
Starting Monday, July 23 all Fall 2007 courses will be loaded into Moodle. All Spring 2007 courses will have been moved to this archive site:
http://moodlearchive.macalester.edu

Moodle will be down for brief periods over the weekend of July 20-22 while the transition is performed. You can start development on your fall semester courses in Moodle on Monday 7/23. If you would like help moving previous sites to the new system or any assistance with Moodle in general, please contact your AIA:

07/10/07, Improved Off-Campus Access to Library Resources
The Library is pleased to announce that you can now use your Macalester network username and password to login to Library resources for access from off-campus locations. This is the same username and password used for your e-mail, Moodle, or Oracle Calendar (as opposed to the current login based on your Library barcode number). 07/05/07, Change to Off-Campus Access to Library Resources
The Library is pleased to announce that early next week (target date: July 10) you will be able to use your Macalester network username and password to login to Library resources for access from off-campus locations. This is the same username and password used for your e-mail, Moodle, or Oracle Calendar as opposed to the current login based on your Library barcode number. You will know this switch is complete when you are no longer prompted for your barcode number from the Library resources off-campus login page and are instead prompted for your network username and password.
