Neela Nandyal joined the International Center at Macalester College in March 2013.  As Interim Financial Coordinator, Neela is responsible for billing and administrative support of off-campus study, and coordination of special projects.

Neela earned her B.A. and M.S. in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  For her graduate degree, she conducted fieldwork in South India, researching the causes of debt accumulation among small farmers.  Other international adventures include studying abroad in Scotland, interning in London, and assisting in scholarly research in Argentina.  Prior to working at Macalester, Neela served as Associate Director of Off-Campus Study at Grinnell College, where she managed the day-to-day operations of the College's programs in Washington DC and London, and advised students on over 80 programs around the world.
