International Center As a constituent unit of Macalester's Institute for Global Citizenship, the mission of the International Center is to strengthen liberal arts education by engaging students and faculty in international and intercultural learning. This mission is accomplished primarily through the four programs below and their related activities and services:
The International Center has a qualified professional staff
ready to help you. We are located at the intersection of Snelling
and Summit Avenues. Effective July 1st, 2007, the International Student Program, which remains under the direction of Aaron Colhapp and which was previously a part of the International Center mission, was transferred under the administrative umbrella of the Student Affairs division, to allow better coordination and provision of student services to an important facet of the College's mission. The offices and staff of the International Student Program continue to share space at the 1576 Summit address with the International Center, but are now located on the garden level of the historic building.
