Mission and Programs

As a constituent unit of Macalester's Institute for Global Citizenship, the mission of the International Center is to strengthen liberal arts education by engaging students, faculty, and staff in international and intercultural learning. This mission is accomplished primarily through the three programs listed below, and their related activities and services:

• Off-Campus Study
• Faculty Development International Seminar
• Faculty and Staff Visitor and Exchange Program
