To paraphrase Gilbert & Sullivan in The Mikado, we’ve got a little list. Actually, it is not so little -- about 85 Recommended Programs for off-campus study.
These are programs and overseas universities in which we have confidence, based on experience and faculty support. We maintain this list to give students a good place to start in investigating off-campus study programs. If you start with The List there is a good chance you will find what is right for you.
The key is, “right for you.” Our goal always is to find the off-campus study program that best meets the student’s needs and aspirations. The List exists to serve that goal, not to limit choice.
On this website you will find our Recommended Programs organized by location and also by major.
Over the years programs have been added and removed from The List based on faculty recommendations and International Center staff evaluations. Starting in academic year 2011-12 the Study Away Review Committee will conduct annual reviews of programs on The List and consider faculty nominations for additions and deletions.
