In terms of simple numbers, 2007-2008 marked the second-highest rate of participation in off-campus study in Macalester history. In the fall semester, 133 students studied off-campus. In the spring, 171 were overseas or on domestic programs for the semester, including one who stayed the full academic year on one program, and six who moved to a different program (Macalester Maastricht) the second semester.
