Amanda Ciafone's research and teaching is at the nexus of history, cultural studies, and area studies.
Her interests include cultural history and cultural studies of Latin America and the Americas, culture and media industries, global capitalism, theories of globalization, and social movements.  She is currently at work on a book about The Coca-Cola Company and the politics, cultural
representations, and social movements
around the multinational corporation.
