Purpose of the Endowment

The purpose of the endowment is to provide a sustainable and reliable level of support to the operating budget of the College.

The investment objectives of the endowment are to preserve the inflation adjusted value of the portfolio and to contribute a steady and growing revenue stream to Macalester's operations.
