Summer Mail Information for International Students

For Returning Students:

1. For summer forwarding dates please visit the Macalester Mailing Services webpage at: http://www.macalester.edu/mailingservices/

2. Summer forwarding address
You will receive a form in your Student Post Office (SPO) from the Mail Services that request an indication of your preference on how the mail should be handled during the summer. You can either specify the mail to be held in Mailing Services or forwarded to another U.S. address if you do not leave the U.S. for the summer. If you leave the U.S. for the summer, your mail received at the Mailing Services and you can pick it up when you return in the fall.

For Graduating Seniors:

All mail received at Macalester for graduating seniors is held until early August. Please contact Mailing Services if you need more information.

If you are applying for OPT, we will have your mail sent to ISP and care of (c/o) Aaron Colhapp because US Federal Mail cannot be forwarded by law, thus it would be returned to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center and eventually destroyed.
