Kathleen McGee (USA/France '12)
Kathleen is a sophomore and intends to major in Theater and International Studies with a Global Health concentration. She's a French-American citizen- born in Paris, raised in London and attended high school in San Francisco. She is a member of the Macalester International Organization and volunteers at the MNIC Charter High School every week. She loves to hang out at Shish and Caribou
Cafe with her friends.
Feifei Zuo (China '11)

Feifei is a junior from China. She was born in nowhere in central China and grew up in Chengdu and Shenzhen. Last spring, she officially became an Econ/Studio Art double major. Ideally, she can do Econ for a living and Art for a life. Food and design are her lifelong passions, which she can't wait to share with her lovely mentees in the fall!
Gayatri Sarin (India '11) 
Gaya is a rising Junior from Bombay (India) majoring in Philosophy, Economics and International Studies. She is a student representative on the Alumni Board, and a member of the Outing Club. This summer she is interning at the Minnesota International Center and working as a campus tour guide for Macalester. Having graduated from high school in Kodaikanal, South India, she been inspired to pursue research and work in the area of Development Economics. She spends most of her free time ideating about future travel plans
Marissa Leow (Singapore '11)
Marissa is a junior with a major in Biology (with an emphasis in Neurobiology) and a minor in Psychology. Originally from Singapore, she has also lived in Taiwan, New York, Hong Kong, and Beijing, China. She has worked in the International Student Programs office for a year and is excited to now be a mentor. Marissa enjoys cooking and eating out, playing badminton, listening to music of all kinds and enjoying those moments of relaxation that very rarely come with being a pre-medical student.
Jessica Sweet (USA '12) 
Jessie is currently a sophomore and plans on majoring in International studies and minoring in French & Francophone Studies and Anthropology. She was born in Tokyo and lived in NYC for fifteen years. After finishing high school in Minneapolis, she volunteered to teach English immersion classes with elementary and junior high students in Nagasaki, Japan. This fall she will volunteer as an ESL teacher in St. Paul.
Ruben Pena (Paraguay '12) 
Ruben is currently a sophomore at Macalester and is studying history and biology with future plans of becoming a nurse practitioner. He was a United World College student and graduated from Red Cross Nordic in Norway in 2008. Ruben has worked a lot with international students before and has always enjoyed sharing and learning from other people's experiences.
Nolin Deloison (USA/France '12)
Nolin is a sophomore majoring in Political Science. He grew up in Oakland, California, but much of his family is from France. Last year, Nolin was a first-year in the International First-Year Program and he had such a good time that he looks forward to being a mentor for the program in the fall.
Emi Kosaku (Japan '11) 
Emi is a junior majoring in Anthropology and a returning mentor from 2008. Emi grew up in mainly in Japan, but also spent a stint in the United States. As a mentor in 2008, Emi worked hard to meet the needs of her mentees from the time they arrived on campus until the first semester ended. She’s looking forward to doing so again this year.
Stephen Snider (Jamaica, '10)

Stephen is a senior from Mandeville, Jamaica. He is majoring in Economics with a minor in Statistics. In his free time, Stephen enjoys exploring downtown Minneapolis and having a good time with friends. He is part of the waterpolo team and the Caribbean Student Alliance.
