ITS Help Desk
The ITS Help Desk provides support for computer problems to members of the Macalester community. If you are experiencing a computer, network or Internet-related problem, or have a question about computing at Macalester, contact the Help Desk for assistance. How can I get help?

Please note that the first couple weeks of school will be primarily business hours (8-4:30) until we have our scheduling completed. Supported Applications and ActivitiesIf you have a College-owned computer and you are working with a supported application or service, we will work with you to solve the problem as quickly as possible. Due to limited resources, the Help Desk cannot support every software application and computing activity. We also work to ensure that student-owned equipment meeting our minimum system baselines can access the campus network, the Internet and e-mail. For other equipment and problems we can suggest alternative resources that may be able to answer your uestions. Wireless IssuesHelp improve Macalester's wireless coverage by reporting areas with poor wireless signals. Please use this form only to report wireless signal issues. Your response will be added to our list of problem areas in need of further review. You may see a Help Desk ticket opened in your name for this issue, and we may contact you seeking further information about the specific area. Submitting this information does not guarantee that we will be able to address the issue, but we hope that we will be able to take care of most, if not all wireless signal issues in due time.
