ITS Help Desk
The ITS
Help Desk provides support for computer
problems to members of the Macalester community.
If you are experiencing a computer, network or Internet-related
problem, or have a question about computing
at Macalester,
contact the Help Desk for
assistance.

Hours of operation
The standard Help Desk hours are:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 9:00
PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Closed Saturdays and Holidays
Supported Applications and Activities
If you have a College-owned computer and you are
working
with a supported application or service, we
will work with
you to solve the problem as quickly
as possible. Due to limited
resources, the Help Desk
cannot support every software application
and
computing activity.
We also
work to ensure that student-owned equipment meeting
our minimum
system baselines can access the campus
network, the Internet and e-mail. For other
equipment and problems we can suggest
alternative
resources that may be
able to answer your
questions.
