Macalester's Residential Network (ResNet)

 

Macalester provides a campus-wide, high speed network with an ethernet jack available for each resident. There is also wireless connectivity in areas of the residence halls.

Drop-in sessions for assistance in registering your computer. On Friday, August 22, 2008 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm and Saturday, August 23, 2008 between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, you can bring your computer to the lower level of the Library for assistance. If you are unable to attend a drop-in session, contact the Help Desk (Humanities 314). Appointments for dorm visits are available on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26 beginning at 5:30 pm each day (696-6625 or helpdesk@macalester.edu).

If you need help with a computer problem that is not network related, call the Computing Help Desk at x6525.

 

Reminder: Your computer must meet ITS's basic system requirements in order to receive assistance.
