Personal or Home Computers
ITS does not have the resources to support your personally-owned
equipment. Exceptions to this are accessing certain network services,
such as Webmail, Moodle and Webfile, and certain software packages that
ITS has made available for installation on your home computer.
Note that availability of networked services to off-campus users
depends upon several factors, including the status of your Internet
connection, your computer hardware, configuration of operating system,
and Web browsers or e-mail clients. Even if the institutional service
is up and running correctly, problems with your personal computer may
influence your ability to use the service.
Please note that ITS is unable to assist with problems with your home
Internet connection - you must contract with an Internet Service Provider
(ISP) of your choosing. We are also unable to do any hardware work on
your personally owned equipment.
