
Are you a Graduating Senior who identifies as Queer, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgender? If so, The Dean of Students Office and Alumni Programs want to celebrate your contributions to the College community. Lavender Graduation is a cultural celebration that recognizes QLGBT students of all races and ethnicities and acknowledges their achievements and contributions to the College. We want to celebrate your past, and encourage your future as you enter into the next phase of your Macalester life—alumni.
When: Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 2:00pm
Where: Weyerhaeuser Board Room
How: Sign up in the Dean of Students Office or at Alumni Programs in Weyerhaeuser Hall. It’s helpful if you register by May 11h, but show up none the less!
Then: Show up at 2:00 on May 13th to be honored, claim your Rainbow Tassel, celebrate with your friends and accept the well wishes of members of the Macalester community who have benefited from your presence on campus!
