Fulltext databases, new scholarly publishing initiatives, digital transformations of collections combine with questionable Web content available on the Internet to challenge colleges and universities. In this new environment, how and what are we teaching students in order for them to navigate, interpret and synthesize this rapidly-expanding universe of available information? The objective of this symposium is to start dialogues on all campuses among all members of the college community: computing and information technology staff, faculty, librarians, students, and any and all academic staff members with an interest in intellectual property.
