Workshop Overview
The "Community of Inquiry" Workshop is an opportunity for
all faculty, but especially those teaching in the first year course program,
to develop an assignment that will
- Introduce students to the scholarly resources and tools provided
to the Macalester community, including the increasingly complex environment
of networked applications and related technologies
- Establish goals and objectives for writing assignments, emphasizing
learning, critical thinking, academic integrity and more effective communication

Faculty panel sharing assignments developed at previous workshops

Peer review of assignment ideas
