CLASSES & TRAINING

 

The Library and Information Technology Services (ITS) have teamed up to offer a variety of classes and training opportunities on various software packages and research tools.

 

Training assistance is available on the following topics:

-Cascading Style Sheets
-Library Research Consultation
-Macalester Network

-Macromedia Dreamweaver

-Web Page Creation/Design

     

SCHEDULED TRAINING Scheduled training sessions on a variety of software-related topics are typically offered each semester. Additional sessions may be added if there is enough demand. Sessions have a limit of 8-12 people - if at least two people do not sign up for a scheduled training session, a one-on-one session may be scheduled at an alternative time.

INDIVIDUAL APPOINTMENTS
Information Services staff offer one-on-one appointments to assist faculty, staff and students with specific training issues that they may have with the topics/resources listed above. These individual appointments allow us to meet the specific questions that each individual user may have.

Would you like to customize a training session to meet the needs of your class or department? We can customize a training session to meet your your specific needs. A minimum of five people are needed to make these arrangements.
