PLEASE REMEMBER: Equipment
should always be returned to a lab consultant or library staff member
and should not be just left on the counter when returned.
The library lab has PC and Mac laptops available for checkout, as
well as digital cameras, digital voice recorders and other equipment
for use in creating digital content for web pages.
Equipment checkout is limited to current Macalester faculty, staff
and students. To borrow equipment from the library lab you must have
your current valid Macalester ID.
Laptops can be checked out for 3 hours and digital cameras/voice recorders
for 24 hours. Equipment is available for checkout during normal library
lab hours from the lower level information desk.
Late fees for equipment returned after the due date/time are $10 per
quarter hour. The person who checked out equipment is solely responsible
for any loss or damage to the equipment until it is returned to a
library lab staff member. Charges will also be assessed for damaged/non-returned
equipment.
