INFORMATION FOR SPONSORS
Thanks for considering becoming
a sponsor of the Library Technology Conference 2009!
Our conference is in
its second year and grew out of a very successful Midwest Library Technology
conference which was held in St. Paul, MN last May. That event attracted
about 250 participants from a wide variety of academic, public, special
and school libraries in five states.
This year's conference is again intended
to provide an opportunity for librarians to discuss the technologies
that are affecting library services; to see examples of what libraries
are doing with these technologies; and to provide a venue where participants
can learn specific skills or knowledge that they can take back and adapt
for use within their own library.
We are seeking a limited number of organizations to
support our conference by being a sponsor. Becoming
a sponsor will entitle your organization to:
- your organization’s logo, name and hyperlink on the conference web site;
- promotion space in the conference program;
- special acknowledgement as sponsor in conference welcoming
remarks;
- exhibition space during the Sponsor’s Reception;
- full conference registration for up to two staff people.
Sponsorship contributions are $450.
In the exhibition space, we will provide an 8 foot table, electricity, internet access, a trash can, and two chairs.
If you have questions about conference sponsorship, please contact Katy Gabrio (gabrio@macalester.edu) or Jacki Betsworth (betsworth@macalester.edu).
