  • The DeWitt Wallace Library Presentation Practice Room 303 is now available to currently registered Macalester students, staff and faculty during the Academic year.
  • The room may be used to develop, practice or give presentations. The room has a whiteboard, a blackboard, a lectern and a projection screen installed. A Data projector may be checked out from the Reserves/Circulation Desk.

Using the Room

  • Room will be reservable for two hour periods.
  • Patrons must sign a form the first time they checkout the key or projector indicating responsiblity for the room and any equipment.
  • View the calendar below to see when the room is available.
  • Reservation requests need to be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to time requested.
  • To reserve the room, please use the request form or contact library staff at the circulation/reserves desk.
  • Walk-in use of room is possible during times that the room is not reserved.
  • Please see staff at the Reserves/Circ desk.
  • Reserves/Circ staff will post the day's reservations on the door of the room.
  • The room may not be used strictly for meeting purposes, or for regularly scheduled events.

Equipment/Key

  • Patrons will check out the room key and a data projector (if needed), from the Reserve/Circulation Desk
  • A data projector may not be checked out without checking out the room key.
  • Data projector is for use only in Room 303.
  • A short VGA cable for the projector is available in the projector case.
  • Patrons may check out a laptop, and/or a dongle adapter (needed for Macs), from the lower level Library Tech Support Desk.

Support

  • A basic projector hook-up info sheet will be available in the room.
  • An additional copy of this info will be in the projector case.
  • If there are problems with equipment, please contact the Reserves/Circ desk.
