Exporting Records From: L’Annee Philologique

Single or multiple records:

  • Put a checkmark in the boxes next to the records you want to export (or when one detailed record is on the screen). Click on the Export button.
  • A pop-up window will appear. (You may need to tell your browser to accept the pop-up.) By default, the selected entries will be immediately downloaded in .dat format. Click on the Export button.
  • Another pop-up window will appear with your citation(s). Copy this text.
  • Login to RefWorks.
  • Choose References/Import from the toolbar.
  • Select Macalester College as the Import Filter/Data Source and Annee Philologique [L’Annee Philologique] as the Database.
  • Paste the text you copied into the “Import data from the following text” box. Click on the Import button.
  • Your records should appear in the Last Imported Folder.

Note: If you have a long list of records you might want to save the list as a file and import the file into RefWorks. Follow the directions above through the Copy step. Then:

  • Paste the text into a text editor program such as Notepad.
  • Save the document as a text file (*.txt)
  • Login to RefWorks.
  • Choose References/Import from the toolbar.
  • Select Macalester College as the Import Filter/Data Source and Annee Philologique [L’Annee Philologique] as the Database.
  • Under "Import data from the following text file", use the Browse button to find the text file you saved to your computer. Click the Import button.
  • Your records should appear in the Last Imported Folder.
