With RefWorks you can:

• Import research references from online databases or saved text files.
• Automatically insert references into your papers and format your bibliographies in seconds using specific styles like MLA, APA, Turabian, and hundreds more.
• With an add-on program called Write-N-Cite, you can cite references in a manuscript with the click of a button using Microsoft Word.
• Save PDF documents (such as articles obtained through interlibrary loan) to your personal database.
• Access your database of references from anywhere in the world, including on your mobile device.

1. RefWorks use is limited to current Macalester students, faculty and staff.
2. Initial account set up must be done from on campus.
3. Set Up a RefWorks Account from On Campus

1. Initial account set up must take place on campus.
2. Use the following special Group Code assigned to Macalester: RWMacalesterC
3. If you are visiting an institution that also subscribes to RefWorks, use the following URL to login: http://www.refworks.com/rwsingle, enter the Group Code above, and login with your Macalester personal account information.
