Library Technology Support
Technology support in the library ranges from requests for assistance with software and hardware issues, to printing equipment support, to assistance with events held in the library. In 2011 alone, the library technology support staff responded to over 1,400 requests for support.
Eligible organizations may use the desktop backgrounds of Library computers for promotions for up to one week at a time. Please read our policies and guidelines before submitting a display request.
A small number of iPads are available for checkout to Macalester students, staff, and faculty for a period of 3 days.
The library provides Dell PC laptops, MacBooks and Chromebooks. Checkout for students is 3 hours and checkout for faculty and staff is 3 days.
