    Session Presentation Materials Posted

Were there sessions at our recent conference that you were unable to attend?  Or maybe you want to follow-up on something that you heard or saw in a session that you did attend?  As presenters
submit their handouts, presentation slides and other materials for their sessions, we are adding them to the Conference's archive site in Macalester's Digital Commons repository.  We've received presentation materials from more than 30 presenters so far, and additional materials are continuing to come in.

While the 2012 Library Technology Conference is now over, that doesn't mean that conversations have to end.  We'd like to continue to hear your thoughts about this year's conference.  What went well?  In what areas could the conference be better?   Got ideas for keynotes for the next conference? Looking for something to do while in Twin Cities?

If you are in town for the conference and looking for something to do, there's always something going on around town!  First, check with the information desk at the conference or ask at the early registration at your hotel, if there are conference-organized events going on.  And if you are looking for other things to do, check our list of suggestions below.

    Who's attending LibTech 2012?

Registration for the Library Technology Conference 2012 has now closed. Thanks to those that are currently making plans to attend. We look forward to seeing the 450+ registered partcipants from more than 70 different library organizations at the conference in March.  For those who did not register to attend this year, we hope that you will consider attending next year's conference.

Early bird sessions @ LibTech Conference

The Library Technology Conference will again be hosting 'early bird' sessions on each day prior to the start of the main conference.  Starting at 8:00am, these sessions will give our sponsors a chance to showcase new offerings and highlight the products and services they offer.  We hope that you will consider attending these sessions! There will be a drawing for a Kindle Fire on each day of the conference from among those attending the the early bird sessions.

When was the last time you played a board game?

And, no, we don't mean playing Angry Birds or Farmville in Facebook!  We're talking game board, pieces you physically move around.... possibly even some dice.  Here's your chance to go retro!  All Lib Tech Conference participants are invited to learn a new board game or to join a party or word game.  Got a favorite board game?  Bring it with you.

    Inclement Weather Policy

Snow and possible bad weather ...in March  ...in Minnesota.  Hard to imagine, we know, especially this winter with it's unseasonably warm weather and very little snow (so far).  The Library Technology Conference does have a policy for inclement weather situations and for coordinating cancellation of the conference in the event of severe weather.
