Directions / Parking
Macalester College is pleased to be hosting the 2012 Library
Technology Conference. The campus is located about a mile south of
Interstate 94 on Snelling Avenue at the intersection of Grand Avenue
and Snelling Avenue in St. Paul, MN. Registration will be in
the Leonard Center Atrium between 7:30am - 9:00am each day of the
conference. Signs directing conference participants to the Registration
area will be located throughout the campus.
Getting to Campus

From Interstate 94, exit on Snelling Avenue and go south on Snelling Avenue to Grand Avenue. Turn right (west) on Grand Avenue and go one block. Turn left (south) on Macalester Street and follow signs to event parking. |

From the north on Interstate 35, take 35E South into St. Paul. Exit to Interstate 94 westbound, and follow the directions above. |

From the south on Interstate 35, take I-35E North into St. Paul. Exit at Ayd Mill Road (exit #104B). At second light, take a left onto Grand Avenue (westbound). One block after crossing Snelling Avenue, turn left (south) onto Macalester Street. Follow signs to event parking. |
Complimentary Shuttle Service to the campus from each of the conference hotels will be available on a complimentary basis, Please inquire about specific shuttle times when checking in at the hotel.
Public Transportation to Campus
Metro Transit Bus Service is also available to the campus via Bus Route #84 (runs north and
south on Snelling approx. every 10 minutes) and Bus Route #63 (runs east and west
on Grand Avenue approx every 15 minutes). For more information about

Parking on Campus
Event Parking is available for conference attendees in any Macalester College parking area. There is no need for a parking permit. Because of construction currently occurring on campus, some parking areas may be unavailable. Follow this link to a map which identifies the best parking options within 1/2 block of the conference registration (the Leonard Center). Signs directing conference participants to college parking areas will also be placed near entrances to the campus.
Limited street parking is also available - but please watch for parking limitation signs. Many streets near campus limit to 2 hour parking and the St. Paul Police actively enforce these restrictions.
