If you are contemplating a religious vocation Chiasma is a program that gathers students in community around re-imagining religious vocation. Students exploring life-work defined by spirituality, or contemplating graduate work in religious studies, or pursuing religious-spiritual leadership in either religious or secular communities, meet twice a month over dinner to bring focus to the changing landscape of religious vocation in the modern world.

Within the vocational ecology of dialogue, shared narratives, field trips and more, students live at the intersection of chiasmic exchanges that provide new depth and dimension to vocational perspectives.  Beyond gaining information or answers to vocational questions, students find an orientation and new footing with which to re-imagine the shape of religious vocations.

Please contact K.P. Hong or Eily Marlow if you are interested in taking part in this community.

Students visit the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley in 2007.

The Lilly Project also offers scholarships to visit seminary, divinity and rabbinical school for those students contemplating a religious vocation. Contact Lucy Forster-Smith for more information or click here for seminary visit application.
