Preparation for global citizenship requires corollary contemplation on both personal commitments and community need.  Through personal reflection, civic engagement and community-based research, students ask not only, “what is my work in the world?”, but also, “to what purpose shall we pledge our common, cooperative effort?”  The Lilly Project provides students with the vision and skills to assume ethical leadership within both society and religious communities.

As part of the Lilly Project, the Lives of Commitment Program engages a select group of first-year students in intentional reflection on issues of social justice, ethical and religious commitments, and the integration of values with work.
