Macalester's first-ever 24-hour "hackathon" is happening February 8-9 in the Olin-Rice Science Center.

 

Macalester student teams are taking part in the college's first ever "hackathon," a 24-hour contest where teams compete to come up with their best innovative idea. The winning team will receive $1,000 and detailed feedback from the judges, including tips and next steps for making their idea a reality. Second and third-place prizes of $750 and $500, respectively, will also be awarded.
