Green Roofing Facts
Intended Plan for Kagin Green Roof :
Area: 1350 sq. ft.
Monitoring: Runoff rate, rain levels, pH, phosphates, nitrogen, insulation (r-value), infrared scanning
Economic Benefits: Extended roof membrane durability 30-40 years, Reduces heating/cooling costs, lowers stormwater runoff fees
Environmental Benefits: Lower
emissions from heating/cooling, reduces stormwater runoff, reduces
urban heat island, carbon uptake, native prairie plants
