April 14, 2006, The MacCARES green roofing
taskforce,
led by Alese Colehour '09 and Ellie Rogers '09, successfully installed
the a green roof on the connecting passageway between Doty and Turck
Residence Halls, known as the Fishbowl.

October 2005, MacCARES sent a delegation to Northfield to tour
Carleton's Wind Turbine and Green Roof and St. Olaf's Composter and
sustainable farm and kitchen.
