Nuchi Lee

My name is Nuchi Lee. It's pronounced as Nou-Chi. In my native (Hmong) language my name means sunshine. I was born in St. Paul, on July 21, 1986. I am the third child of the family, also the oldest daughter. My current school is Highland Park Sr. High; I'll be graduating in the year 2004. My height is 5'3" my skin color is whitish peach, my eyes color is really strange I don't really know how to describe the color, but there is four colors: navy blue, dark green, light brown, and black as for my pupil. As you read my description of myself, you may think that I am mixed, but I am pure Hmong.

IN my family there are five of us, including me. I have two older brothers, one little sister and one little brother. My oldest brother's name is Yang Gee Lee. He graduated from Harding High School in the year 2002. He attended Century College for one semester. My second oldest brother's name is Xing Lee. He graduated from Highland Park Sr. High School in the year 2003. My little sister's name is Choua Lee. She'll be graduating in the year 2005, and her current school in elementary school; his current school is Hancock Magnet School.

MY hobbies are singing, writing, and drawing. Singing is the best thing I love to do, because when I sing, it gives me chances to express things to people or to entertain people. I like writing, because it gives me chances to express thing to myself, so that there won't be so much in my mind. And I like drawing because sometimes it shows my expression inside of me or just to record my imagination on a paper.

One thing that is special about me is at school I am a singer. I discovered my voice when I was in second grade. I started singing to a big audience when I was a sixth grader. Then as I grew up older, discovering more about my voice, I started singing for my school talent show; which was in eighth grade, for our school Asian Cultural Club. I also sang a song in Hmong and Used American Sign Language (at the same time) to the graduating seniors at our school on May 28, 2003, before we said good-bye.

As I think about it, I have a lot of talents in me, so I don't really know what my career is going to be like. I am a person who likes teaching people, who likes talking and entertaining people. I was thinking about majoring in business administration, but as I look at my personality it doesn't even fit as being a business person at all; there fore, I only have my minor which is study in my foreign language, Chinese.
School is what I love best in life because without school I wouldn't know how to read and write. Before I end my paper, I want to let you people out there know: never give up on what you are doing. Also always keep your head up high and always think before you do something.
